318 Belmont St, Portland
Laminated pastries, open-crumb sourdough, and a friendly counter on Belmont.
Our Story
Rosewood Bakery is a small, focused bakery on Belmont Street in Portland. We bake sourdough loaves with an open, chewy crumb, laminate croissants by hand, and pull cardamom buns from the oven each morning.
Alongside the baked goods, we brew a simple, well-made cup of coffee. Come early, pull up a stool, and let the smell of warm butter and toasted crust do the rest.
Sourdough, laminated pastries, and cardamom buns, baked fresh each day at 318 Belmont.
Layers of butter folded into soft dough, baked until deeply golden. Flaky from the outside in, with a honeyed pull in the centre.
A naturally leavened loaf with a crackle crust and a chewy, irregular crumb. Baked in small batches each morning.
Soft, fragrant, and sticky at the edges. The kind of thing you think about on the way home.
A straightforward, well-brewed cup. Exactly what the pastry next to it deserves.
